What: Launching our next Guest Artist at the Little Gallery: Kenn Lam. Accompanied by a bespoke cocktail from Cyan Wong

Created in collaboration with @cyanwonderwong and #Schweppes, the show answers the question: “What do bubbles mean to you?”

"To me, a grotto is like an air bubble that’s grown into a cave — a pocket of respite beneath the unforgiving surface. It felt like the right metaphor for that first effervescent sip at the end of a long day, and for the warmth of a community found after times most trying – my own safe bubble, without which I'd have drowned. Merry Morrow looks ahead to days brighter, slower and tastier!

For the launch, I've created a new piece loosely based on Hainanese Chicken Rice – A Singaporean dish I grew to appreciate more deeply only after leaving home. Its ingredients are easily accessible across the globe, which to me lowers the barrier of entry in the reminiscence of home. That simply ubiquity–which anchors you wherever you are–ties back to the idea of a safe bubble, the good o' good grotto" Kenn Lam

@cyanwonderwong will be crafting a bespoke cocktail that plays on the flavours of Hainanese Chicken Rice; they'll be given out to the first 50 guests at the opening!
