The original dumpling house where it all started. Located on Lower Clapton Road amongst other great independent businesses.
The tardis that is Clapton, where each room you walk through has its own playful identity, making you feel like you're part of a Studio Ghibli movie. From our main dining area where you can watch the chefs steam your freshly hand rolled dumplings to Matilda’s basement bar for a sake cocktail, perhaps whilst enjoying one of the live music nights. Finally the luscious hanging garden, which also doubles up as our event space whether it’s Mah Jong Club, Dumpling making classes or a Movie night.
Clapton is the perfect space for large group bookings and events.

We can take large bookings for up to 42 people in our Hanging Garden Room - we offer a set menu for £30/head where all food is shared family style with a selection of pretty much all the dishes on our menu, catering to any dietary needs.
